Introduction to the 12-Step Philosophies
Level II.1 - Intensive Outpatient Services
Phase I - The objectives during Phase I are the identification
of the severity of addiction; understanding which life areas
have been negatively impacted, and the initial application of
proven methods of change. Each person identifies on-going
recovery support systems.
Phase II - The focus in Phase II is on repairing lifestyle
damage caused by addiction and the development of a
comprehensive Recovery Maintenance Plan.
Phase III - This is the maintenance phase (formerly known as
aftercare). The goals include identifying new sources of
support for new problems.
Family,
Partners and Friends Program - This program is tailored to
address the specific needs of the people whose lives have been
impacted by addiction. This program is a critical element in
relationship healing.
Level I - Outpatient Treatment Services
Recovery Introduction (RI) - The RI program is a 10-session
harm reduction treatment experience. The purpose of the
program is to provide participants with the basic tools
necessary to reduce the risk of harm from alcohol and drug
use. In this treatment model "treatment success" is
defined in terms of the degree to which clients reduce their
irresponsible use of chemicals and the degree in which
resistance to support systems is reduced. This program is not
covered by any third party payer.
Level 0.5
- Early Intervention Services
Alternative Community Training (ACT) - ACT is a 4-session
program designed for people whose assessment findings include
a [provisional] diagnosis in the Abuse classification, as well
as people whose assessment findings include a diagnosis of
Dependency in the Early Stage. This program is not covered by
any third party payer.
